Well-Earned Saturday Naps

After an early morning walk in the park, Fred the basset hound, Mitch the basset-beagle mix, and Tippy the beagle picked out favorite places to take their well-deserved separate snoozes, having done their doggy detective duty by patrolling the major park trails and certifying them temporarily clear of deer. They had also conscientiously checked on the temperature of the park's blissfully chilly creek waters. Fred in the sun. Mitch in the sunny igloo. Tippy in a comfortable dog-shed bed.
