Overnight, a Fully Opened Flower

Sooner than I'd expected, my Christmas present is unfolding its blossoms:



The little stove partially visible beside the plant's container is part of the Christmas decorations I'd set out in December.

The buds on this hibiscus plant -- a Christmas present -- are slowly responding to their hours in the sunlight.




Perhaps by mid-January I may get to enjoy fully-opened blooms.
